22 January a lecture “Nukolskaya Kseniya Nikolayevna – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” was held in “Zerde” hall.

29 January a slide presentation and a lecture dedicated to 115th anniversary of Gulyandam Kozhanova, a prisoner of “ALZHIR” camp, were organized for the pupils of №7 school of Zhanazhol village.

3 February a lecture “Tragedy of Afghanistan” was red for the pupils of №53 grammar school of Astana.

10-18 February an exhibition “Tragedy of Afghanistan” was organized in “Alash” hall.

18 February a slide presentation and a lecture “Gulzhamal Mailina – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” were organized for the pupils of №73 grammar school of Astana.

1 March the “ALZHIR” museum staff in cooperation with the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan organized an exposition “Memory for the future” timed to the Day of Thanks in the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan.

1-7 March a slide presentation “Friendship of peoples” timed to the Day of Thanks was presented in the museum “ALZHIR”.

2 March a slide presentation and a lecture “Uasipa Kulenova – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” dedicated to her 105th anniversary were organized for the pupils №27 grammar school of Astana.

10 March a lecture “Osmanova Fatima – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” dedicated to her 110th anniversary was red in “Zerde” hall for the pupils of №27 grammar school of Astana.

10 March a lecture dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Alimkhan Ermekov, first Kazakh mathematician, was red for the pupils of secondary school of Zhanazhol village.

11 March an exhibition and a lecture dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Fatima Diveyeva, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”, were organized for the pupils of secondary school of Talapker village.

14-31 March an exhibition timed to the 150th anniversary of Alikhan Bukeikhanov, a leader of Alash political party, was organized in the Central regional library.

16 March a lecture “Zagipa Tnalina – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” was organized for the pupils of secondary school of Talapker village.

16 March an exhibition and a lecture “Gaisina Gainizhamal – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” dedicated to her 110th anniversary were organized for the pupils of Astana city schools.

18-24 March an exhibition timed to Nauryz national holiday was organized in “ALZHIR” museum.

14-18 April, in Karazhar village, Tselinograd district, a mobile exhibition, devoted to the 125-th anniversary of U.Kulumbetov, repressed in 1937 was demonstrated.

14 April, for the students of school №15, Astana, the lecture about Imam Alimbekov (1885-1937) was organized.

On April 15-27 in “Alash” hall the exhibition for 125-th anniversary of Alimkhan Ermekov was presented.

21 April, for the students of school №3, Talapker village, the lecture with slide show, devoted to 120-th anniversary of Koshke Kemengerov was held.

27 April - 2 May, the exhibition for 125- th anniversary of Alikhan Bukeikhanov was organized.

29 April- 5 May, the lecture and exhibition, devoted to Unity day of people of Kazakhstan was presented.

On May 4-10, the exposition was timed to coincide with Victory day. In the exposition photo materials about the years of Great Patriotic War, its warriors Heroes of the Soviet Union, such as Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Baurzhan Momyshuly and others were demonstrated.

18 May, in International Museum day, Open Day and photo exposition was organized.

25 may - 10 June, “The unique exhibits of “ALZHIR” exposition, dedicated to Memorial Day of the victims of political repressions was exhibited.

On May 30, the museum employees organized the exhibition in National picture gallery, Astana.

1-3 June, the exhibition “Children of Gulag” and lecture "We became bored on maternal hands” were presented.

4 June, with participation of Belarussian and Ukrainian ethnocultural centers, the opening of the memorable stone, sanctified to the women of Armenian nationality was held, Saakyan Ara Okopovich, the Emergency and plenipotentiary ambassador of Armenia to Kazakhstan and also leader of excursion-exhibition department R.R.Zhaksybayeva made a speech.

4-8 June, videopanoramic exhibition "Symbols of country are a guarantor of independence" and lecture the "State symbols are my pride" were organized at the museum.

8 June, a specialist of excursion-exhibition department, read a lecture to the visitors about Kusni-Kamal Baygskina, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”.

10 June, the specialists of the museum organized a movable exhibition and lecture in "Crisis center-shelter for persons getting in a difficult situation because of violence or threat of violence".

13-22 June,the exhibition, timed to the 120year from the day of birth of Koshmukhamed Kemengerov, Kazakh writer, dramatist, literary critic, historian and publicman subjected to repression in 1937 was demonstrated.

15-22 June, the museum employees organized mobile exhibition, dedicated to the 115-th anniversary of Gulyandam Khodjanova, a prisoner of “ALZHIR” in the Central library of Tselinograd district.

24 June, the museum staff and A.S.Musagalieva, a teacher of Eurasian national university named after L.N.Gumilev, a doctor of historical Sciences organized a lesson-seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary since the outbreak of the national liberation uprising in 1916 in the Central library of Tselinograd district.

28 June, the meeting with Andrei Sergeevich Shevelev, a great grandson of Klara Bron, a prisoner of “ALZHIR” was organized and “Zhas Otan” youth wing, the museum visitors and the museum staff participated in it.The mobile exhibition, devoted to Klara Bon, accused of being the family member of Motherland Traitor in 1938, for 8 years was demonstrated.

3-6 July, the museum guide participated in the 24-th General conference of ICOM «Museums and cultural landscapes», that was held in Milan, Italy. During the conference she made a presentation «Memory of women – prisoners in «ALZHIR» museum» in which photos and documents of “ALZHIR” prisoners were demonstrated.

4-11 July, the specialist of the museum organized the exhibitions “Astana is a heart of people” and “Astana from the view of children”, dedicated to Capital Day. In “Astana from the view of children” exhibition the pictures of child of school №5, Akmol village were presented.

5 July, the museum specialist read a lecture on the theme "The cradle of the future of the capital", dedicated to Capital Day.

12-19 July, the museum employee organized a mobile exhibition and lecture “The memory of heart” dedicated to the 110-th anniversary of th birth of Fatima Osmanova, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”. The materials reflecting on life and activity of Torebek Osmanov, a first Kazakh banker and his wife Fatima Osmanova, who spent 8 years in the camp.

20 July, the museum specialist made a presentation of the lecture “Ilyas Akhmetov (1897-1938)”, dedicated to the 119-th anniversary of the birth of Ilyas Akhmetov, a Kazakh scientist, journalist and a public figure, repressed in 1937.

25 July, «Аbdollа Аbdrakhmanovich Аsylbekov (1896-1938 ), the lecture was presented for the 120-th anniversary of Аbdollа Аsylbekov, a Kazakh writer, journalist, a public figure repressed in 1937.

19-31 July, the joint exhibition with the State historical-cultural and literary-memorial reserve-museum “Zhidebay-Borili” named after Abay was opened at the museum on the theme “The competent of Abay study”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kayim Mukhamedkhanov, a scientist of Abay study, a teacher, an author of the first Kazakh anthem, a Laureate of the Price of RoK.

4-11 August the specialist of the museum read a lecture on the theme “The formation of the Soviet totalitarian system”.

17 August in the framework of the regional programme “Astana the city without drugs ” the museum specialist read a lecture “The truth about drugs”.

19-25 August the museum employee read a lecture on the theme “Turagul Abayuli” dedicated to the 140-th anniversary of the birth Turagul Abayuli, a son of Abay Kunanbayev, the great Kazakh poet, educator, a founder of Kazakh written literature and “Arham Iskakov”, dedicated to the 130-th anniversary of Arham Iskakov, a descendant of Abay.

25-31 August the specialist of the museum presented the video panoramic exhibition "The basic Law – the bulwark of Independence" dedicated to the Constitution Day of RoK.

29 August the museum employee read a lecture on the theme of "A nuclear-free world – global mission of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the International day against nuclear tests.

9 September specialist of the research department at the hall "Zerde" gave a lecture with accompanying slides on the topic "Violation of women's rights in a totalitarian state".

9-15 September in the exhibition hall an exhibition and lecture dedicated to Family Day were organized.

14 September the museum guide gave a lecture with accompanying slides on the topic "Akhmet Baitursynov (1873-1937)” at "Zerde" hall, dedicated to the life and work of the famous Kazakh poet, scholar, Turkologist, writer, translator, educator, public and state figure, who was repressed in 1937.

16 September specialist of the exhibition work department gave a lecture on "Mansur Giatovich Gataulin (1903-1937)" dedicated to Mansur Gataulina, a head of Kazakh state publishing house, repressed in 1937, one of the authors of the "Letter of five", written in July, 1932, in the name of F. I. Goloshchekin, the first Secretary of Kazraikom of the CPSU (b)).

16-23 September videopanorama exhibition and lecture timed to the Day of languages of people of Kazakhstan was presented at the museum.

20 September specialist of exhibition works department organized a traveling exhibition and lecture: "the Echo of mass political repressions" for persons serving a criminal sentence at State Institution EC-166/10 ", Department of criminal-Executive system of Astana city Committee of Executive system criminal of Internal Affairs Ministry of the RoK".

28 September specialist of the research department organized a traveling exhibition, lecture and theatrical performances for students on the theme "Hope for life..." dedicated to Clara Bron, a prisoner of "ALZHIR", the wife of Saul G. Bron, Chairman of the Soviet trade unions "Armtorg" in the United States, statesman, repressed in 1937 at the Research centre 'Otyrar Kitapkhanasy', Eurasian National University. L. N. Gumilev.

30 September specialist of the research work department, in the framework of the regional program "Astana without drugs" for pupils of 5 classes of high school № 5, Akmol village presented an exhibition with accompanying slides and a lecture on the topic "Future without drugs".

On October 5, the specialist of research works department organized the lecture with the slide-show in the Center of social center “Aleumet-komek” under the akimate of Astana city located in Koktal populated areas.

On October 10-17-s, the specialist of exposition-exhibition department presented a mobile exhibition “The children’s view on history of repression” in the library of Akmol village, focused on photos and letter of “ALZHIR” prisoners’ children.

On October 13, under the organization of the specialist of exposition-exhibition department the exhibition “Memory of women – prisoners in «ALZHIR» museum” in English was held in Research Center, ENU named after L.Gumilev.

On October 17, the specialist of research works department gave a lecture on “Platais Gertruda – a prisoner of “ALZHIR” dated to 106-th anniversary of Platais Gertruda.

On October 19, the specialist of exposition-exhibition department made a lecture on “Bolganbayev Khairetdin (1894-1937) – an “Alash” figure” devoted to Bolganbayev Khairetdin, a bright figure of Alash Horde, came from Akmola Region, repressed in 1937.

On October 20, the specialist of exposition-exhibition department made a lecture on “Seitkali Mendeshev (1882-1937) a chairman of Kirgiz CEC”, devoted to Seitkali Mendeshev, a public and statesman, repressed in 1937 for students of school №5, Akmol village in “Zerde” hall.

On October 21, the guide of exposition-exhibition department gave a lecture on “Zhurgeneva Damesh – “ALZHIR” prisoner”, timed to 111-th anniversary of Zhurgeneva Damesh, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”.

On October 26, the specialist of exposition-exhibition department got a lecture on “Suleimen Eskaraev (1897-1937) the first public prosecutor in KASSR”, devoted to Suleimen Eskaraev, the first public prosecutor in KASSR, repressed in 1937.

On November 2, the specialists of exhibition and exposition department organized the exhibition in the Central library of Tselinograd district on “The great unforgettable figure” devoted to public figures and statesmen of Kazakhstan - Nygmet Nurmakov, Zhanaidar Saduakasov and Zhakip Akpayev - the members of “Alash” party repressed in 1937-38-s.

On November 11, the specialists of exhibition and exposition department presented the exhibition on “We are witnessing” devoted to well-known women, “ALZHIR” prisoners in Karaotkel high school №2, Tselinograd district.

On November 14, the specialists of exhibition and exposition department presented the exhibition on «Memory of women – prisoners in «ALZHIR» museum» for schoolchildren of 9-10-th grades in Nazarbayev Intellectual school.

On November 21, the museum specialists visited to the Belorussian ethno-cultural center, where the meeting with Dmitry Ostankevich, a chairman of “Radima ” the Belorussian ethno-cultural center, representatives of the Belorussian diaspora from Astana, as well as, Vyacheslav Shabanov a doctor of juridical sciences, professor, a head of Criminal Science, who had been invited by ENU for making lectures for students, undergraduates and doctoral was held.

On December 1-5-s, video panoramic exhibition and the lecture on “The head of the state is a wise leader” was presented in “Alash” hall, devoted to First President Day of RK. Photos that reflect school and teenage years of the President, photographs from the family archive, and also shows the key role of the President in the formation of independent Kazakhstan, achievements of the state in the economy, medicine and education were demonstrated in the exhibition. The guests of the event were soldiers of military unit №44813, Akmol village and the representatives of Department of internal policies, Astana.

On December 5, the event devoted to Independence Day, organized by museum specialists along with Cultural House, Akmol village and searching club “Malinovka” was held. During the event the participants of December events 1986, Kurmangazi Rakhmetov, Askar Saginaev, Baurzhan Kairanbekov, Tokhtar and Kalara Ermekovs told about the events of that time, the difficulties they outlived. Within the framework of the event the video panoramic exhibition and the lecture on “The Independence is a heritage of people” were organized by Central district library.

On December 6, the meeting with Gabbasov Sirim Gabbasovich, honorary knight of the order “Qurmet”, full knight of industry of signs "Miner's glory", "Labor glory", the academician of the world Academy of Sciences for Complex Security. His grandfather, Tatimov Mukhametkali Koishibayevich was one of the first Peoples Commissar of labor, healthcare, plenipotentiary representative Kazakh SSR in Moscow, repressed and killed in 1938, his grandmother – Tatimova Shakitay served a sentence in “ALZHIR” as a family member of the traitor to the motherland for 5 years.

During the meeting Sirim Gabbasovich told what his family had experienced in the repressed years, also the short video from the documentary film “We are witnessing” was demonstrated, where Sara Tatimova, a mother of Sirim told the years in “ALZHIR”. The schoolchldren of school №5 Akmol village and children of search club “Malinvka” recited a poem as well as children from kindergarten “Zhuldiz” sang a song about “ALZHIR” in Kazakh and Russian. The museum specialist A.Khassenova read a lecture on “”Klara Tatimova – a prisoner of “ALZHIR”.

On December 7-10-s, on the eve of Independence of RK, “The famous names of “ALZHR” and “The fateful 1937” photo exhibitions were presented in the halls of the museum.

Currently, update of exhibition windows and reexposition in “Alash” are carrying out.
